On March 27, 2007, BizTech Center, the City of Hamilton and the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce celebrated emerging businesses in Butler County with a Salute to Small Business. During the networking event, BizTech’s 26 businesses were recognized. Fifth Third Foundation Awards BizTech Center $10,000 Grant

The grant will enable BizTech to help expand its Small Business Development Center consulting and training program for entrepreneurs and remodel additional space to increase the number of available suites on the third floor to accommodate more young companies.


BizTech celebrates Firebelly Marketing and Advertising Agency’s graduation and expansion to Vora Technology Park in Hamilton. Read the complete details or download the media release. BizTech Manager Marilyn Collmer and Vora Technology Park Business Manager Cheryl Vitek collaborated to keep Firebelly Marketing owners and staff in the community and retain these young, talented, technology savvy Miami University graduates in Hamilton/Butler County.

	City of Hamilton Mayor Don Ryan was on hand to assist BizTech Board of Trustees Chair Jenea Norris Allen and BizTech Manager Marilyn Collmer in recognizing all Associates for their achievements and successes in growing their businesses and creating jobs for the community. BizTech’s 26 companies representing 120 employees generate a payroll of about $2.5 million with an estimated turn over of about 1.5 times resulting in an economic impact of $3.6 million for the areawide economy.
Tours of BizTech’s third floor expansion of 15 freshly remodeled suites were conducted, business displays and promotional materials were exhibited and an open house for new and existing companies was featured


BizTech Center’s expanded SBDC program was announced with the introduction of SBDC Director and Business Advisor Linda Moore. Linda will spearhead the Ohio Small Business Development Center no charge counseling and training program in Butler County at BizTech with existing Business Advisor Jack Gatlin, and in the SBDC satellite office at the City of Middletown’s Department of Economic Development.
